Club Coco Creative Company ("Club Coco", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at clubcoco.com.au and to the services we provide.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

Club Coco Creative Company is a brand and web design studio based at 64A Tamar St, Launceston, TAS, Australia. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@clubcoco.com.au.

What we collect

We only collect information we need to run our business and deliver our work. That may include:

  • Contact and enquiry details you give us through our website forms, email, or during a project, such as your name, email address, phone number, and business details.

  • Project information you share with us so we can design your brand or website, including files, images, brand assets, and feedback.

  • Billing information needed to invoice you and process payments. Payments are handled by our third-party billing provider; we do not store full card details ourselves.

  • Website usage data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes.

  • Deliver the design and web services you engage us for.

  • Manage projects, bookings, and client communication.

  • Send invoices and process payments.

  • Improve our website and services.

  • Send you updates or newsletters where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services we use

We rely on trusted third-party tools to run our business. These providers only receive the information needed to do their job, and each has its own privacy policy:

  • Moxie (client management, invoicing, and forms)

  • Notion (internal project and client records)

  • Make (workflow automation between our tools)

  • Pinterest (creating and managing project mood boards, see below)

  • Google Workspace (email and calendar)

  • Our website host and analytics provider

Pinterest

We use the Pinterest API to create and manage mood boards for our design projects. When we use Pinterest through our own connected account, we access and store only the data needed to create boards and organise project inspiration, such as board names and links.

Our use of information received from the Pinterest API follows the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and the Pinterest Privacy Policy. We do not use Pinterest data for any purpose other than delivering our design work, and we do not sell or transfer Pinterest data to third parties. You can review Pinterest's own privacy practices at policy.pinterest.com/privacy-policy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to help it work properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

How we store and protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then remove or de-identify it.

Some of our third-party providers may store data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled with appropriate protection.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date.

  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.

To make a request, email hello@clubcoco.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
